Mitre 10 Trade

Working alongside Australia’s second largest hardware business to design an experience that champions Australia’s greatest worker, the tradie.

I grew up with a local Mitre 10 (now Home Hardware) around the corner from my home. I would often drop-in for last minute school projects (sorry mum) or home DIY projects with my dad.

While I often didn't know what I needed, the local in-store expert would set me up with materials and creative ideas that often landed me top marks.

From sandpaper Pyramids of Giza to expandable foam Antarctic models. They would even deliver to our home.

They truly were the backbone of trades and DIY in our local community.

Working on the Mitre 10 Trade App was a full-circle moment for me and now it was my turn to help design something that empowers not only the business, but the local communities that Mitre 10 supports.
